On July 16th, Rob Cartwright, co-chair of the Reform California report on the Typhus outbreak in California held a news conference with Carl DeMaio, chair of Reform California. Mr. DeMaio and Mr. Cartwright discussed the challenges the state of California as well as pest control companies are facing with this growing health problem. Public health officials in Los Angeles are still working to control an outbreak of typhus, a bacterial disease spread by infected fleas, in the downtown area and elsewhere in the sprawling county. Thank you for making this such an awesome post!

During early civilization, typhus fever was the predominant disease, whereas typhoid was of secondary prevalence. Thank you for making this such an awesome post!
