DRYWOOD TERMITE SOLUTIONS

Fumigation- Complete Control

If our inspection reveals a Drywood Termite or Powder-Post Beetle problem in your home, only one option has been scientifically proven to provide complete control: total fumigation. A wood- penetrating gas fumigation is the only sure way to kill all the enemies within. This safe, thorough procedure has been performed effectively for decades on homes, schools, museums and other buildings. Whether you have termites or other wood-
destroying insects, we will release the required amount of fumigant into your home. This fumigant penetrates the wood and destroys the existing infestation. Once the fumigation is completed, you'll re-enter your home knowing that the battle against wood- destroying insects is finally over. And you have won.

Localized Treatment
In some cases a Drywood Termite infestation can be eliminated by treating only the affected area. The most common
method of localized treatment is to drill small holes into the termite galleries/tunnels and inject a termiticide. It is
important to note that this method can be used only when the area of infestation is completely visible and accessible. A
total fumigation will be recommended otherwise.

Key Benefits of Fumigation

1. Full penetration of wood members = complete control.

2. Elimination of inaccessible infestations.

3. Safe and effective

4. The fumigant is odorless, clean, non-staining, and non-flammable.

5. Warranty covers entire house, not just affected wood members

Kalo-Foam System
In many cases, the entire home can be treated without the hassle of moving out for three days. With the Kalo-Foam
System, we use the following three step process:

1. Drill a 1/8" hole approximately every 18 inches (between each stud) at 5 inches from the ceiling, and sometimes, if
necessary, 5 inches from the floor.

2. Apply termiticide. Using high-pressured machinery, wall voids are filled with the Kalo-Foam solution.

3. Patch all drilled holes upon completion. Holes turn out to be barely visible on white walls.

The Kalo-Foam solution coats the wood and then diffuses into the wood. The solution makes the wood indigestible to
termites, it destroys their digestive organ (the protozoa) and the termites starve to death.

The warranty on homes treated with the Kalo-Foam System is similar to the fumigation in that it covers the entire home, not
just individual wood members.

Subterranean Termite Treatment (Soil Treatment)

Conventional Liquid Treatment

Liquid termiticide is placed around the perimeter of your home into the soil by both trenching and rodding the soil
adjacent to the foundation, and drilling all expansion joints in areas such as patios and porches. Drilling is also performed
inside the home around the perimeter of the slab, around cracks, and around all plumbing penetrations. This will prevent
termites from tunneling up or under the slab into the structure.

Liquid termiticide is then applied to the soil and under the slab to protect those areas from termites tunneling up and
around the pipes. In areas where drilling is impractical (such as in your beautiful tiled or hardwood floors), foam treatments
into wall voids are performed instead. A thorough treatment like this using a proven product like Termidor will last for many years.
